LOCKS & SAFES
Warranty – 2 years on Locks fitted to original door (12 months on Locks fitted to existing doors). 12 months on Safes.
Maintenance – The locking devices, which are incorporated in these products, are complex mechanisms, which require basic maintenance from time to time to ensure that they operate with a minimum of problems. This is especially important if the products are subject to weather. Locks should be routinely checked to ensure that screws are all tight and lubricated with a graphite or silicon spray available from AUS-SECURE or hardware stores. Liquid or aerosol lubricants such as WD40 or CRC can cause corrosion and damage the locking mechanism
ALARM SYSTEMS
Warranty – 5 years on PIR’s, 2 years on other Components, 12 months on Labour.
Maintenance – Your alarm system needs very little in the way of regular maintenance, as it is mostly self-checking. We would suggest, however, that the area surrounded all movement’s sensors and your control panel be sprayed every two or three months with a good SURFACE insect spray. This will eliminate most false alarms and saveon costly service calls.

Hinges – May require graphite or silicon spray from time to time to keep them moving freely.
Automatic Closer – The closer is designed to close the door and should be adjusted to suit with no wind around. The adjustment is located at the end of the closer closest to the centre of the door. By screwing this screw in our out a little time you should be able to affect the required close. Changes in wind will affect the operation of the closer but a firm close without slamming is set originally this should suit most conditions.
Roller Wheels – roller wheels on sliding doors have sealed bearings and therefore require no further attention. Sliding doors will slide more freely with a regular application of Graphite or silicone spray from AUSSECURE or your hardware store. Bottom tracks should be kept clear of dirt and sand.
